Title. Trying to reconnect with the FATE community. This is the only game I ever got my uncle to play. I've played all four games and beat them at least once. Sadly with more money these days I play more recent games, but I'm always looking for a reason to give it another go....

So i have been playing this game for 8 years most on cd back in the day, i now have the digital version and just caught the cheesehead of emerald bay fishing in the town with a fresh character i made with only 5 minutes of playtime. Should i keep it or sell it?...

Every once in a while, I get a crash with a "Runtime Error" dialog. Hitting OK just causes the game to vanish and it has to be restarted. Happens randomly, but about once every dozen or more times you enter a dungeon, or leave on to go to the town. Any idea? Anyone else having that issues? Any idea what the cause could be? I'm running the latest windows 11, 64gig of ram, solid state drive, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10700K CPU @ 3.80GHz 3.79 GHz, Nvidia video....

I have tried using it when I am under a slow spell and tried it when I needed to hasten. It doesn't seem to do anything. There doesn't seem to be a game hint either.
