Although I like the customization, improvements/additions to timers and to-do lists, I feel that compared to the original they aren't necessary essential upgrades, but I still love it, being able to build my own flat feels great.

I like the improvements to the sounds, and added ability to add my own custom music.

I feel this is the kind of app you would by if you like the original, but not something you buy straightup, by that, I mean if you don't need any of the new features, Virtual Cottage 1 is still amazing and doable.

I bought this app on day 1 mainly because I loved the original so much, and wanted to support the devs, not necessarily because Virtual Cottage 1 was outdated.

I would give this app a 10/10, there's really not much to judge or criticise.

For some odd reason despite being advertised as a Linux-Native game, it doesn't launch on any of my Linux PCs, I had to force Proton to get it working, but with Proton, it's basically working perfectly fine.

I super love this. Would appreciate a recurring task feature in the future!

The first "Virtual Cottage" was nice to help me study in medical school; the little lifestyle enhancements (count up, being able to decorate, task-list) is nice to help me study while in residency.
Only addition would be if there were an Android port as well, so I can have it running in the background on my phone to time-keep and task-keep instead of having it on one of many windows on my PC.

Cute and wholesome vibes! There are so many options for customization. I really like having a distraction that isn't doomscrolling through social media. Also, it's a very reasonable price for all of the features :D

Great upgrade compared to the first game. Keeps all you loved from the first, but allows customization. Improved to do lists, sounds, and updated playlist. Keeps to its roots and adds more. Great studying tool and keeps you on track!

A whole new look of the game with new soundtrack + new places & even I can interact online.. this is amazing

Where to start this review. I am a student and I am finishing my diploma this year. My boyfriend gifted me Virtual Cottage 2. I already used Virtual Cottage and it was my ally during my study sessions. When I started using Virtual Cottage 2 it literally benefited me. I love the fact that you can journal to keep track of what you do, you can chose what type of clock you want. I love this feature, it is the best improvement in my opinion. If you are a student or someone that loves organisation, please get this game. You won't regret it :)
