The best what happened to me this month~!

I'd like to begin this review with a small personal anecdote. Back in middle school, I was neighbors and close friends with this young boy who would regale me with stories about how is father worked at SEGA. All the kids at the lunch table only half-believed him (since even at our ages we've been hearing the "uncle at Nintendo" stories), but we found out this was true once he up and left to go to Japan. I learned once he was back, that his father was brought into their upcoming secret console project.

A few years later, my friend moved back to the states, and came back to the neighborhood. He told me a lot had happened in the few years, about what his father did for work, the failings of the project, and how that lead to his family falling apart. He only had his father left, and when visiting him you could feel the coolness in the air.

My friend and I were a few years into attending the local college for our undergraduate degrees, but still living with our parents in that same quiet neighborhood. One day, I decided to just show my face at his place. Back then, it wasn't too weird to not call in advance if you were neighbors, and to just knock to see if they wanted to hang out. When I rang the bell, his dad came to the door, with the same sullen expression he'd had on for years at that point, but he still lit up seeing that it was me who came to the door. He told me to come on in, and that my friend should be in his room.

That day was when everything changed. It was the day I learned about Hyperdimension Neptunia, and it was the day I learned about love. I'm not sure what the psychological reasons behind it were, but there was my friend, dressed as the personification of the project that tore his family apart. He was holding his Wii controller, in a position clearly not meant for others' eyes. Following his scream, his father races up the stairs to investigate. I slam the door behind, and he yells out "I-I'm okay!!" The rest, is history.

This game is fine IDK

Worth every penny. 10/10 game. I really enjoyed the 4th wall breaks, the silly dialogue, nepgear, and the tedious grinding of course. Will definetly be attempting to catch up on the mainline games and MAYBE the sidelines.
