In 2010, before Digital Happiness is formed, we made Jurig Escape, a prototype that laid the foundation for our game development journey and would eventually evolve into to DreadOut, our darling title. So in celebration of DreadOut's 10th Anniversary, we made this very same prototype available on steam, completely free of charge, immortalizing it as a significant piece of our game development history.

First of all, happy Lunar New Year! And now, the HQ is presenting news regarding DreadHaunt’s latest update, just in time for this festivities!



Embrace the spirit of the Lunar New Year with the new seasonal ornament! We hope that this seasonal environment will freshen up your haunting sessions. We even managed to snap some footage directly from the field.


As usual, We squashed some bugs and fine-tuned several aspects to ensure smooth gameplay. However, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have feedback and suggestions!



Based on the timeline that we shared, the single-player mode is in the works. We’re also working on the game economy like XP accumulation and cosmetics rewards.

We have updated DreadHaunt to version 20231218, and these are notable details that the HQ want to share:


After each session, you’ll be presented with an eye-catching post-result screen. Showing who’s the possessed one, who survived (or didn’t), and how many points you racked up during the mission.


We decided to overhaul the Audio System including BGM & SFX assets. You will notice a few changes during gameplay


Controller support is available in very early stage. If you the controller-wielding type of agent, we are looking forward to hear your experiences!


- Added subtitle size option to Settings.
- Spectro damage effect +15%
- Kunti attack charge 25 -> 28.75
- Asih attack charge 10 -> 11.5
- Prevent drop tools while opening voter
- BugFix: Kunti attack charge hit multiple times
- Add condition to disable host quit button when in game
- add descriptions to sprectro skills
- fix mouse cursor not reappearing during waiting for players


- BGM not playing on Versus Mode
