Retrieved doughnuts and spammed vinegar on the Base mob to oblivion. Got neither 'Dough, Not Whole', nor 'Board of Reagents'. Are all achievements broken in the game at this point?

ok so I've beaten he game before but now I'm playing it again and I'm stuck in the part for the tree guy I know there are 2 other bosses I have to beat before I can even think of beating him I and I'm trying to get to the southern energy thingy I know I have to blow up a dam on a river I've already beaten the snapdragon too but I forgot where the dam is could someone pls help me?...
