It's somehow almost like a downgrade from what I remember this franchise being.

This is a reskinned Farming Simulator 22. Which itself was a reskinned Farming Simulator 19.
I notice practically no graphical enhancements and no game mechanics that make this game anymore worth it than just playing FS19, or hell, even FS17. If I go back to my console, or even just watching a video on youtube, the only thing that would MAYBE be a telltale sign between a side by side of FS17 or FS25 is that the models just look a PINCH more detailed now. This should NOT be the case for what would be over 8 YEARS of progress between the two.

And honorable mention. The AI worker feels worse than 22. Shocker, I know. It's like they get dumber each release.

That being said, if this is your entry into the franchise. Get it, may as well. If you already own FS22, don't bother.

Intriguing...

I wrote a review some time ago about how the game was a rinse-repeat, and went into some details about the gameplay loop. Ultimately, I could not recommend the game.

Seems GIANTS have managed to get Steam to delete that review, so once again (but with an additional negative strike for sketchy review rating behaviour); NOT RECOMMENDED.

Very interesting for gameplay, but I was looking for a realistic simulator of the tractor engines, and most share the same curve, just scaled differently. Not accurate enough for scientific exploration.

The lack of comprehensive tutorial made this game virtually unplayable. I should not have to seek out more information online to figure out how to play your game.

The tutorial takes about 30 minutes and is only teaches you how to use three/four different equipment types, how to prepare your field, seed, and harvest..... that's it. It does not tell you how to purchase/use more equipment, seeds, animals, etc. and does not indicate what you are to do to start your farm. At minimum, the in-game tutorial should show me 95% of how to play the game. The current tutorial probably shows about 10% of what you need to know to begin and maintain your farm. It also does not seem to provide any further information on game play post tutorial as there are minimal "objectives" that you can do. Even if you select one of the available "objectives", it does not tell you what you need to do, it just marks a random farm on your map. Also, you can "rent" equipment, but when I selected that option, the equipment was nowhere to be found. I checked all over my farm and the farm indicated on the map, but I could not find anything.

I have played many games similar to this so I do not need my hand held, but this was the worst tutorial process on a game I have ever encountered. Unless you are very familiar with the franchise or the tutorial is completely overhauled and made better, I would not recommend wasting your money.

good game lots to do

the game itself felt interesting, graphics were nice but i just cant pass the constant stuttering no matter what settings i tried or lowered and i have beefy system. what a shame, almost feel bad refunding this. Edit. somehow steam beta does not work for me, so it does not show my system specs on reviews. I have rtx 4090, 9800x3d and 32gigs of ram 6000mhz on 4K.

Old man showing me how to do everything and he literally says " its mid summer so try canola " then literally 20 secs later he tells me to pay attention to the weather it will rain soon but its good for canola

A game that telling me it will rain in mid summer is never a good game , refunded
