• External Import Folder Settings

  You can now add additional folders for loading .card and .deck files, while keeping the default save location unchanged.

• Dodge

  New SP: Now triggers when the attack value is 4 or higher, instead of 2 or lower.

  New ULT: Heal all players by 1. Then, return all cards in the offense zone to their owners' hands, ignoring zone locks, and immediately end the turn.

• Trapper

  New ULT: Increase the number of traps added to 2. Before adding traps, return all traps in your hand to the deck.

  New: When this card moves to the attack zone, lock the attack zone until it successfully attacks at least once.

【Card of Horror】

• Severance

  New ULT: This card’s attacks ignore effects that negate damage and effects that trigger in response to damage. Additionally, when the attack succeeds, send the top 3 cards of the opponent’s graveyard to the afterlife.

【Card of Inspiration】

  New: Heal 1. If this card is taken unilaterally by another player, negate its effect.

  New SP: Also negates exchange effects initiated by other players when this card becomes a target.

  New ULT: While this card is in your hand, it can also negate such effects even when activated by other cards. Also negates exchange effects when targeted by another player.

  Spec Change: Can now be used as a fusion material.

• MONSTER CARDS BINDER

  MONSTER CARDS BINDER is a brand-new card selection tool that replaces the “Explorer” and “Pseudo Card Binder.”

  You can enable it by selecting MONSTER CARDS BINDER under the card selection tool option in the in-game settings.

  

• Tagging Feature

  You can now assign up to three tags in the card settings screen.

  These tags can be used as search keywords within the newly added MONSTER CARDS BINDER, and they will also be displayed in the flavor text section when zooming in on a card.

  This makes it easier to highlight whether a card belongs to a specific series or category!

  

• Adjustments to Painting ToolsWith the addition of new customization features included in the upcoming Customization Expansion DLC, several enhancements have been made to the in-game painting tools:

  To prevent scenarios where activating Fusion multiple times in a single turn could lead to an overwhelming board state early in the game, we’ve added a new option to limit the number of times Discard can be played per turn.

  By default, this is set to 3 times per turn, but it can be adjusted in the battle settings screen.

  Note: This is an experimental balance adjustment related to the Fusion skill. We’ll continue to monitor player feedback and gameplay situations to refine the balance further.

By purchasing the Customization Expansion DLC “Plus License”, the following new features will be unlocked:

• Unlimited Rerolls

  The number of rerolls during card creation becomes unlimited.

  Note: In Ver.0.20 the limit was 12, and in Ver.0.21 it has been raised to 20 even for players without the DLC.

• Borderless Layer

  Allows illustrations to extend beyond the card frame.

  This can be enabled/disabled for each layer via the checkbox next to the layer button.

  Note: While the paint tool allows drawing up to the card’s edges, parts of the frame will still be masked in order to show the card’s rarity.

• Live Motion

  Adds effects to layers, allowing your artwork to be expressed more dynamically.

  Motions are created by combining multiple animation presets.

  New：Fuse Fusion Material 1 and Fusion Material 2 from your hand to create Fusion Form.

  New ULT：If your opponent has no cards in hand at the start of your turn, forcefully activate a trick.When this card successfully attacks, activate the other effect not chosen at the start of the turn.

【EX Skills】

• Trap【Discard】

  New ULT：Force your opponent to discard one random card from their hand.
  If this card is discarded from your hand, apply the effect to the owner of the card in the offense zone.

Heal: Can now restore health to all allies.

Lightning: Now deals damage to all other players when played onto the field.

Pressure: Its influence over the field has been reduced, but it now applies a powerful effect to all players’ hands.

Reverse: Enhanced so that more can be recovered than before.

Surge: Improved to deal stronger and more consistent damage.

Evolve: The completed form is now added to your hand even in the case of a draw.

Wild Element: Cards of the unchosen attribute are now moved to your hand instead of your deck.

Trick or Treat: Adjusted in line with the skill effect changes.

Soldier: Some effects have been strengthened.

• New Skills Added (2 types + 1 EX type)

  【Advanced】

  • Emepror【GameChanger】

    During the battle, an attack power compatibility judgment is added.

    In this compatibility judgment, the long-hand moves towards the higher attack power.

    SP：Lock the Game Changer zone for the next turn.

    ULT：Lock the Game Changer zone for the next 3 turns.

  • Fusion 【Discard】

    Fuse fusion material 1 and fusion material 2 in your hand to create fusion form.
    ・Fusion materials must have the same rarity.
    ・Fusion materials can be substituted with cards of the same status with different names.
    ・Attack power will be the sum of both materials (maximum 10).
    ・Skills cannot overlap and will be combined from both materials. If both materials do not have skills, increase the attack power by +2.

    SP：The rarity of the fusion form increases by one level.

    ULT：You can fuse even if the rarities of the fusion materials are different. If both rarities are the same, it will increase by one level.
    If both materials are UR and possess the same skill, unparalleled power will be bestowed.

    • Fusion Form【Standard / Discard / GameChanger】

      Having united, ultimate power has been attained.

      SP：The skill cannot be sealed by a divine nullification. (Only effective when both fusion materials have no skills)

      ULT：The base attack power is further increased by +2.(Only effective when both fusion materials have no skills)

• New Rarities Beyond UR: "XR (Extend Rare)"

  Cards with a new rarity one tier above UR, called XR (Extend Rare), can now appear through certain skill effects.
  If a card is eligible to become XR, the skill text will include phrases like “gain unparalleled power.” Just like ULT effects exist for UR, XR cards have an additional effect called EXT.
  We won't spoil the exact details of these effects—but rumor has it that a single XR card might just turn the whole game around...

• New Disaster Rarity Beyond D: "F (Fatal)"

  Some skill effects may now result in a card with a rarity even more dangerous than D—F (Fatal).
  As with D-rarity cards, Fatal cards cannot be placed in the defense or attack zones.
  They come with a built-in ULT effect that grants them exceptionally powerful abilities.

• Dice Attack Mode Now Permanent

  A once-limited-time battle option from the April Fools event, Dice Attack, is now available permanently.
  In this mode, when a card attacks, dice are rolled equal to its power.
  If a die shows a 1, the damage increases by 1; if a die shows a 6, the damage decreases by 1.

• Improved Backup System During Card Creation/Editing

  Previously, card creation/editing would generate a single backup file that was overwritten with each save. Now, backups are stored as separate copies—up to a maximum of 300 files—making it easier to restore progress after unexpected issues. The default interval for automatic backups while painting is 5 minutes, but this can now be changed in the settings.

• Credits Screen Added

  A new credits screen has been added to showcase the names of those who have supported MONSTER CARDS in various ways.

【Basic】

• Dodge【Discard】

  New SP：It activates with an attack power of 3 or higher, not with an attack power of 2 or lower.

• Kick Out【Standard】(Minor adjustments)

  New ULT：Deal 1 damage to the returned player. If the returned card is UR or higher, it becomes 2 damage.

【Advanced】

• Challenge【Standard】

  New：At the start of the turn, lock the offense zone, but during the battle, gain short-hand disadvantage (-1). If this card remains in the offense zone until the next owner's turn, it will return to your hand and change into final arts.

  New ULT：The short-hand disadvantage during battle is reduced by -2, but the final arts possess unparalleled power.

• Evolve【Standard】

  New ULT：Unmatched power resides in the final form.

• Live On Stage【GameChanger】(Minor adjustments)

  New：Cards without skills turn the disadvantage of having no compatibility into an advantage when facing cards with skills in compatibility judgment.

• Revival【Discard】

  New：Choose a player and allow them to add the top card from their cemetery to their hand.

  New SP：If the selected player's cemetery has three or more cards, they recover an additional 1. It can be revived, and if revived, it will recover 1 instead of being added to the hand.

  New ULT：Heal an additional 1 for every 3 cards in the cemetery of the chosen player. It can be revived, and if revived, it will heal 1 instead of being added to the hand.

【Sunrise】

• Divine Nullification【GameChanger】(Minor adjustments)

  New：All skill effects other than game changer zone will not activate.

【Named】

• Trick or Treat【Standard】

  New：At the start of your turn, force your opponent to choose between trick or treat.
  Trick!: When this card is attacked, one card from your hand is randomly taken.
  Treat!: Offer any card from your hand, and this card gains a short-hand change based on its rarity. The attack damage received after the battle increases or decreases by the value of the short-hand change received.
  - SR or higher: short-hand disadvantage (-2)
  - C, R: short-hand disadvantage (-1)

  New ULT：In the compatibility assessment, having no compatibility is eliminated. In size and means assessments, having no compatibility results in a defense advantage, while in other assessments, having no compatibility results in an offense advantage.

• Duplicate card restrictions are now determined based on parameters (such as rarity, power, element, etc.) rather than internal file IDs.

• When generating a card, its parameters are finalized once you proceed to settings like card name. After this point, rerolling is no longer possible by going back.

• If a desync is detected during a match, the match will now end immediately.

• Card backups will no longer be deleted when clearing the cache.

• Localization for all non-Japanese languages has been completely overhauled.

  New ULT: If a card in the Defense Zone wins while this effect is active, this card returns to the hand.

  New: If this card results in a draw when attacking, it returns to the top of the deck.
  New ULT: If this card would be sent to the graveyard from the deck due to damage, it is revealed and added to the hand instead.
  
• Trick or Treat【Standard】
  New: At the start of the turn, forces the opponent to choose Trick or Treat.
  Trick!: Returns all cards in hand to the deck, shuffles, then draws until the hand reaches the standard size.
