Introducing the Twitch Edition!
The scientists at Scythe Dev Team have done it again, those rascals! They've fully integrated Twitch into the game. After logging in and connecting your account, your chat can use commands to influence gameplay! It doesn't matter if you have 5000 fans or just your grandma, everyone can interact!

• Right Click the game in your Steam Library
• Select Properties
• Open the 'Betas' tab
• In the dropdown select, 'twitch_edition'
• Update and Play!

The commands include:

Description

!talk

Makes speech bubbles appear over customer's heads with your message

!radio

A text-to-speech Klattersynth will say whatever you type to the player!

!mascot

Make the mascots speak to the player from a pool of their favorite phrases!

!food

Give the player a bite to eat from a random assortment of goods!

!spawn

Spawn a friend (but really it's just a foe) for the player to have EXTRA fun!

!scare

Trigger a dynamic scare event if applicable

!light

It's too bright in here, if applicable, toggle a light switch.

!tv

Toggle the TV in the player's apartment!

!door

It's too drafty in here, open (or close) a random door if applicable

!throw

Don't like what the player is holding? Me neither, throw it! (this makes cooking real fun)

JUMP! AHHH!!!!

Buy the player a drink, everyone knows it's fun to get buzzed at work.

1. Read through the employee’s manual carefully before your first shift to inform yourself of all the core ingredients. Fair warning: customers’ satisfaction is always top priority and serious consequences apply if you fail to achieve that;
   
2. Keep your manager amazed and happy, she is a demanding boss to please and eerie events may occur when she is not in a favorable mood;
   
3. Free-roam the map of New Elysian City when you are off shift. Collect and buy things such as action figures and cassette tapes or appreciate the fine art in the museum. We hope you grow not only as a savvy chef, but also as a fun local.
   
4. Jam out to 9 brand new albums as well as 5 returning classics in the jukebox that’s located in the restaurant lobby. We always like to maintain a dynamic vibe while working.
   
5. Most importantly, if you have started to witness some bizarre events in the restaurant. Stay on your shifts and keep serving. We do not guarantee your safety if you decide to get too curious.

Hello to all of our amazing Happy Humble Employees!

Today we bring you a small change, but with big impact! As of version 1.17.0 any items left in your apartment will be there when you get back! This means you can safely save your stuff, decorate your apartment, or steal all of Toe's coffee, and never worry about it disappearing!

This means the game can be played very differently, or more at your own pace. REMEMBER, any items your player is holding or left in your backpack WILL NOT BE SAVED! So be sure to drop them off at your place before Clocking Out.

We did our best to account for every item that could possibly be saved, but we may have missed 1 or 2 items. If this is the case or you experience any weird behavior, please stop by our discord and let us know in our Bugfixing channel! https://discord.com/invite/happyshumble
