Season 6 arrives next month with more content, features, quality of life improvements, and more! Let’s take a look at this in more detail.

The update is planned to release on March 25, 2026.

As for the maintenance, it will be mentioned in the Patch Notes, which will arrive on March 25, 2026. Expect the server maintenance at 9:30am CET and last up to 8:00pm CET. As usual, we will keep you updated on our progress during the day too.

Let’s take a look at the main features arriving in Season 6!

Detective Missions were a mission type voted by the community in our Year 2 Developer Diary. The team at KT wanted to create something that isn’t just like TDU2, but rather a full improvement.

It’s worth noting as we’ve now added more missions, we’ve also changed how many appear on the map at once. You’ll now find 2 Taxi Missions, 1 Car Delivery Missions, and 1 Detective Mission on the map at once. There’s a lot to talk about, so let’s start about how missions will work, but first, here’s what Jessica has to say about the story behind Detective Missions!

“Detective Missions were a great opportunity for us to explore another side of the TDUSC universe. Each mission tells a short story, and together they reveal more about the people and personalities you can encounter across Hong Kong Island and Ibiza. Some investigations are quite light-hearted, such as paparazzi assignments, while others dive into more mysterious situations involving disappearances or suspicious activities. There are also more personal stories, like cases of adultery. It was also a chance for us to expand on characters players already knew, including some of the challengers and reveal a glimpse of what happens behind the scenes of their lives.”

Upon approaching a Detective Mission, you’ll find all of the mission information available to you. The vehicle you have to target, the weather, the traffic density, and the road conditions. You’ll also find information about the target which will help give you a bit of lore before starting the mission.

Once you start the mission, the Fixer will explain to you briefly why you’re tailing the target, and what journey you’re about to partake in. This is where the first large difference between TDU2 is, as you’ll find no mission is the same, each with their own story to tell. You’ll start tailing the vehicle, but be careful not to get too close! The target will traverse throughout the roads towards their destination, by dynamically changing their driving style, so sometimes you’ll see them calm, and sometimes you’ll find them speeding!

Throughout each mission, you’ll have to wire tap the vehicle, yet another big difference from TDU2’s tailing missions and it's why we wanted to call these Detective Missions instead. During this process, you have a set amount of time to complete the wiretap by staying within the area (without being detected). Once complete, the Fixer will be able to play the audio of the successful wiretap. This will give you more lore behind the target you are tailing! Some missions may require you to wiretap once, but some may require you to do it 3 times! Once you reach the destination of the target, you’ll take a picture and the Fixer will confirm your findings! Be careful though, to get the maximum amount of money from these missions, you must successfully capture all wiretaps!

In S6, there will be 15 missions day one and another 15 others will come in the Season 6 mid-season update. It will follow the same rules as the other contracts and drop rate depends on the rarity of the contract and the level you are. With 15 missions, you might see the same missions. We will rebalance this in the next update too.

There is a bit more we want to tease though, so to explain this more, here’s what Guillaume has to say!

“Ah yes... Forgot to tell you, the team came up one day with a GOOOOD idea. I was like we have to put this in the game. I can't tell you what it is and I think you won't find it before a long time or at least S6P1, but can't wait for you guys to find out about it!

This initial version of the Detective missions captures everything we wanted to focus on. As Jessica mentioned, our goal was to offer deeper immersion and storytelling than the original "Tailing" mode in Test Drive Unlimited 2. It was essential for us to preserve the essence of that classic mode while pushing the boundaries of the experience.

However, even though we’ve reached our initial goals, we want to go even bigger. We loved developing this mode, but we felt it was still missing a certain edge. While we’ve ticked all the boxes regarding immersion, we believe the tailing mechanics themselves can be further refined. That is exactly what we are doing for S6P1.

Two major workstreams are underway:

• Advanced Detection Parameters: Currently, only distance affects suspicion. We feel this lacks the "Role Play" depth expected of a Test Drive title. We are adding new parameters that the suspect will detect: accidents, driving the wrong way, using the horn, drifting,  over-revving your engine, etc.

• Detection States: The vision for Detective mode is to make you feel undercover, not in a police chase. To maintain this immersion, we previously lacked the tools to keep the difficulty high without being frustrating or weird. In addition to the new detection parameters in S6P1, we are introducing a Detection State system, allowing us to create a more challenging and nuanced experience.

These improvements will significantly transform the gameplay between S6 and S6P1. If you enjoyed the mode in S6, just wait until you see this new version! Furthermore, all S6 contracts will be updated with this system and rebalanced for the new difficulty.

One last thing, the team came up with a brilliant idea one morning. It was so cool that I insisted we add it, no matter what. It’s a subtle feature, but keep your eyes peeled! Prove to us that you’re a true detective, and not just someone completing contracts.”

The TDU DNA is something we’ve been working hard on improving since the launch of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Walkable clothing stores arrive in Ibiza for the Streets and Sharp clans. You can also see your vehicle parked outside of the store, just another step towards improving the TDU lifestyle! We’ve shown screenshots of these already, but here are some more screenshots of the interior and exterior of the buildings!

We have added a clothing store to the clan HQ’s too! The clothing store and vehicle accessory store are at the entrance of the HQ, to be more visible/accessible to the players. The RNG Chest from leveling up your clan is not removed, but you can only get money from it now. 

All clothing and car customization content have been dispatched into the clothing and Car Customization store in the HQ’s. We didn't have time to equally distribute clothes from the chest into the Ibiza clothing stores so everything is currently in the HQ stores. This will be fixed in a future update though!

We revealed this before, but since Season 5’s Hong Kong Island southern district rework, we went over the northern districts while also reviewing intersections in the southern areas of Hong Kong Island! You’ll be able to find more traffic lights throughout the southern areas which create a much more improved feel to the game.

We want to give a huge thanks to Huy, our main procedural building artist for the work they’ve done on improving our procedural generation on Hong Kong Island, and the building assets and intersection work!

“My current role involves reviewing urban areas (known as 'parcels') across the various districts of Hong Kong Island in order to correct them (by realigning their shapes with sidewalks and roads around them), rectify them (by resolving various issues with the generated elements, whether these be bugs or errors) and adapt them to the various updates to the urban generation tool used to create buildings and skyscrapers.

To meet production constraints, this tool was designed to randomly generate urban areas based on a number of parameters, thereby sparing artists the tedious task of manually decorating these areas and their buildings.

This procedural tool has been significantly improved by the tech artist team since the game's release. Better distance mesh/LOD meshes generate from the base mesh, improved breakdown layout to create buildings, optimised assets spawning on the building facade, as examples.

However, in order to achieve the objective of optimising performance and improving roads and junctions to accommodate the current and future activities in it, it has been necessary to adjust the previous work on urban areas as well as their credibility.

As reducing the number of random parameters in the generation of urban areas appears to be the most suitable solution to strike a good balance between visuals and optimisation. By adjusting the height, the density of the buildings and the layout of the skyscrapers, more sunlight is allowed to pass through and light the way for the player as they drive their way through the city streets during the day. It's a long process, but I'm confident that it can only improve the player experience in this updated version of Hong Kong's districts.

In the current retake work in Wanchai, it seemed necessary to add and increase the number of advertising billboards in an attempt to capture one of the district's distinctive features. These serve quite well to illuminate the streets.”

Do you remember what Tess Wintory said in TDU2? The competition is heating up? Well, that describes our car list for Season 6, as we think this is our best yet! Let’s take a look at the confirmed vehicles arriving in Season 6 of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown!

“For Season 6, the Vehicle Artist team has gone even further with the vehicle customization options, particularly with the Pagani Huayra Roadster and the Lamborghini Temerario. Both cars offer an extensive list of manufacturer possibilities. It was important for us to capture that range of choice, even though we had to be selective with the final customizations provided. Between them, there are over 130 customization options across the interior and exterior! We have a great car lineup this season, and we hope every player finds something they love in this diverse selection.”

Yes, Pagani returns to TDU! The Pagani Huayra Roadster is the first Pagani to arrive in TDUSC, but as we confirmed in the dedicated Pagani letter, it isn’t the last, and players can expect to see another Pagani in Season 8! You’ll be able to find this vehicle in the Italian Car dealership on Hong Kong Island, with an incredible amount of vehicle spec options - 36 manufacturer exterior paint options, 32 interior options, and 6 rim options!

We’re also improving the sound of this vehicle. Although it will not arrive for the launch of Season 6, you will be able to find gameplay of the sound improvement in a future Solar Club Letter! We’d like to hear your feedback on this sound so the team can continue to find and tune it to meet the expectations of the community!

French rejoice! The track focused Alpine A110 makes its open world racing game debut in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, and we’re sure the players will enjoy this one! This car will be available as a level 1 reward in the Season 6 Solar Pass.

One of Lamborghini’s newest poster child, this vehicle arrives as a level 15 reward in the Season 6 Solar Pass. Similar to that of the Pagani Huayra, you can find this vehicle with 7 different manufacturer rims, 29 different manufacturer interior colour options, and 39 different manufacturer exterior paint options. Truly, every player will be able to make their Temerario feel unique!

When you think of Pininfarina, you think of the beautiful designs they’ve contributed to the car scene in the past decades. When you see the B95, you know their design philosophy hasn't changed yet, and won’t anytime soon. The Pininfarina B95 arrives as the level 50 reward in the Solar Pass (available to all players)! This electric car is based off the Battista, but some may say it looks better! A fitting vehicle to cruise through the sunshine in Ibiza!

Players have mentioned their excitement for this vehicle quite a few times already, but it finally arrives next week! The SLS AMG Black Series arrives in the Season 6 online store with a Michelin bundle! In it, you’ll be able to find the:

Arriving in the Season 6 mid-season update, the Dodge Viper gets a bespoke bodykit created by the vehicle artist team at KT! The vehicle features a moulded wide body kit, custom wing, custom front good, and custom rims! The vehicle artist team is also reworking the rear tail lights of the Dodge Viper, which means both the vehicle found in the dealership, and the vehicle found in this bundle will have an improved tail light that looks more accurate to the real life model. That said, in this bundle, you’ll find:

We have done quite a few quality of life improvements in Season 6, so here’s everything you can expect!

Casino NPC Voices

The team has gone and added new voices to the NPC’s around the Casino! This means a more immersive experience, whether you exchanging your Casino Chips, heading to the Poker room, or even playing Poker! 

Alyss GPS Voice

The sound design team also worked on naturalising the GPS voice! This better aligns with the future of the TDU DNA, and it’s something we’ve seen players request often!

Increased Outfit Slots

Another player request, we’ve increased the amount of outfit slots possible! This means you can now save up to 6 outfits for your character!

Increased GPS Destination Points

We’ve seen players use this for their group cruises, and even mini-races, so we decided to increase this! You can now select up to 10 GPS points within a route, meaning the possibilities of custom group races and even larger cruises are now possible!

Improved Thumbnail Generation

We’ve improved the look of the vehicle thumbnails in your garage, but also how they look in the workshop and dealership too! You’ll find body customisations now showcase the item, and they have an improved visual experience.

Improved Ibiza Workshop (Selene HQ) Lighting

We’ve improved the lighting when in the Selene HQ workshop menu. Similarly, this will bring a better visual experience for the player.

Dirty Air Overhaul

We’ve improved how dirt air works in the game based on player feedback. There is now up to 0.3% to 0.5% of less drag behind a car and we added a linear progression from 100 meters to 0 as it was previously an on/off trigger. This should improve how players race at high speeds. We are curious to hear your feedback on this improvement, and we’ll be watching out socials regarding this.

In Season 6 you can find a wide array of vehicle customisation improvements with licensed items, new licensed clothing, licensed liveries, and much more! 

BMW M Performance license arrives in Season 6! This starts with the BMW M Performance livery for the BMW M4 Competition. This will be available in the online store in the rotational section.

As showcased a few weeks ago and also in the February Solar Club Letter, players can find this new licensed customisation in the Season 6 Solar Pass complete with a spoiler, side skirt, rear diffuser, and front splitter, all fully licensed for the Audi R8 RWS (coupe only)!

We saw the reaction from the community, and it seems they look forward to this style of customisation, so be sure it's something the team will look into improving in the coming Seasons!

In last week's letter we showcased the collaboration with Michelin! To quickly recap, in Season 6 you’ll have a Michelin branded live event, a Michelin x Mercedes-Benz bundle in the online store (which was discussed earlier in this letter), and many Michelin licensed clothing items!

We can also confirm that Michelin will feature in Season 7, and we are working on some really cool things with Michelin for the future too!

The team worked hard on some incredible liveries this Season! For example, you can find these liveries for the Ford Mustang and the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT in future live events in Season 6!

In the online store, you can also find this livery for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1 in the online store rotational section in Season 6!

You can also find some new spoiler options available in the online store for the Ford Mustang, BMW i8, and much more! We’ve gone for a more sleek style on these spoilers based on some feedback from the community too! You’ll be able to find the spoiler on these cars, and more, available in the rotational section of the online store!

We’ve been saying this for a while now, but the network team is hard at work improving the network infrastructure and future content of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. To recap what players can expect to see in Season 6, here is a quote from the lead online programmer, Sylvain, in the last Solar Club Letter:

“PlayStation Plus was a huge milestone for us, especially following the initial release of TDU. We worked hard the last few months to make sure that anything works as expected and that our infrastructure will be able to handle every new player. It also gives us a lot of new data and insights to check regarding our applications! In Season 6 we will introduce several fixes regarding our session management system, mostly linked to what players see as "Lobby Error" or group errors. 

Now the team is fully focused on the ‘Servers v2’ part of the job, where we will rewrite a lot of our algorithms to improve stability of network connection, reduce the latency, and make sure that players will be able to see each other a lot more in the open world part.”

We can also confirm the recent server issues players have experienced in the past week will be much improved in the Season 6 update. We’ll be sure to include the specific network improvements in the upcoming Season 6 Patch Notes so stay tuned!

Season 6 brings many other sound improvements! Here’s what the sound team worked on for Season 6!

“S6 comes with new features like the detective missions and some brand new cars that we greatly enjoyed to sound design! Beside that you will also found some new shops owned by the Streets and the Sharps. It was obvious for us to create for each shop a sound ambiance respectful with the clan's lifestyle and the country where the store is located. I hope you will enjoy strolling in these new places to shop for some clothes and to listen to the new dedicated playlist music that we set on each of them.”

Season 6 brings new features, but we also worked on fixing some past issues. We’ve worked on many sounds and you’ll be able to find some of the following in Season 6, and Season 6’s mid-season update.

Season 6 Day One:

• Overall Sound Balancing - Improving the sounds in cockpits of some vehicles such as the Agera RS for example and working on the balancing of AI drivers in races

• BMW M4 Pops/Bangs - We’ve fixed this as the sound was currently weird when upshifting

• Evija, Battista and Taycan Are Missing Sounds From Other Players/AI In Freeroam/Events - just as explained!

• Alfa Romeo 4C Spider - sound clipping at redline has been fixed

• And more which will be announced in the upcoming patch notes!

After Season 6 Day One (S6P1):

• LeFerrari Aperta - We’re currently working on fixing this sound based on player feedback

• Koenigsegg Regera - We’ve fixed the missing engine sound at low RPM

• Pagani Huayra Roadster - We are working on fixing the sound of this vehicle to better match the player expectations

• Car Sounds For Other Players In Freeroam - When cruising or driving around with other players in freeroam, the audio of the other player's cars are incorrect. This is something we are working to fix

• Community Sound Improvement List - Mclaren MP4-12C, and other various vehicles from the communities requests on sound improvements

We of course have many other sound improvements and fixes coming in future updates, and you keep up to date with those in future Solar Club Letters.

The Patch Notes for Season 6 will arrive on March 25, 2026 at 10am CET, just after the servers go under maintenance for the update. 

Of course, it isn’t a Solar Club Letter if we don’t mention some of the big patch note improvements arriving in Season 6, so let’s go over some important ones!

• Controller/Keyboard visual steering tyre sync - players who use controller and keyboard will no longer see a slow turning speed, and the visual dynamics of the tire now match the physics of the vehicle.
  Note: We still want to improve this so that the actual interior steering animation can keep up with the input in certain conditions, but it requires further testing and code work. We’ll update you when we have more news on this.

  

• Live Event spoilers equipable - the live event spoiler rewards are now equipable on their associated vehicle

• Aston Martin Vantage GT3/Vulcan FFB/input delay - the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 and Vulcan FFB delay have been fixed. Players will no longer find a delay in the dynamics of the car

• Alyss wheel navigation binding option - players on wheel can now head to the settings, and bind left/right to be able to navigate through the alyss wheel

• Mouse look navigation in freeroam - players on keyboard can now use their mouse to look around their vehicle in freeroam by holding the left mouse button and dragging

• Wheel desync with multiple bindings - players will no longer have a desync between the in-game wheel and the wheel input they have, especially when using multiple bindings

• Waiting in Race Setup lobby will change the weather - players can no longer wait in a race setup lobby to change the weather, and possibly get a better time

• Hood/Dashboard camera look left/right fix - players who use the hood and dashboard camera can now look left and right correctly

• Xbox Series X Performance - Increased default upscaled resolution to 1440p in performance mode. (Note: We are working hard on bringing this to PS5 soon too!)

And of course, much more to be announced in the upcoming Patch Notes!

Don’t worry, the content inside each season isn’t changing, and we’ll be delivering our entire Year 2 roadmap this year as promised, but we will increase the time of each Season. Let’s discuss why.

To enhance the quality and polish of each seasonal release, we are adjusting the duration of each Season. This decision was made back with the release of Season 5 to allow us more time to develop features and ensure every update is as refined as possible.

Our goal is to deliver an ever-richer and more immersive gameplay experience. For example, it gives us the possibility to add even more Quality of Life features, further bug fixes to previous and new features/content and game improvements like in Season 6’s mid-season update with the improvement of Detective Missions. We also have great ambitions for Season 8 and the highly anticipated arrival of houses, and this extended time lets us make sure we meet and try to exceed player expectations with our efforts.

Here is what the Head of Nacon Racing has to say about the future of TDUSC.

“Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is an important game for Nacon and the Test Drive Unlimited franchise. This is a strategic move we made before the release of Season 5 to improve the overall QA and polish of the game's releases.We also wanted to ensure the content within each season is improved not just by polish, but by its actual strength.

This can be seen in the future seasonal and mid-season update releases, and you’ll especially see this with Season 8, the most awaited update in TDUSC, being houses and garages. We thank you for your continued passion and support.”

Of course, we expect there to be many questions on this subject, and after you read and see our Season 7 and Season 8 content in this letter, we expect you to have more! 

During the Season 6 Feature Showcase stream, we will have time to answer questions directly about Season 6 (because of course that’s the main focus), but we’ll also give some time to answer any questions about the roadmap timeframe and any questions on Season 7 and Season 8!

JDM cars, massively improved end-game content and replayability, and a much needed improvement to the PvP system in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Very important topics of community feedback are tackled here, so let’s talk about it!

Live game interactions (Solar Pass & Live Events) play a crucial role in the end game content for TDUSC and we want for people to have new and cool things to do when they connect to Test Drive.

We know that Solar Pass progression and Live Event experience aren't perfect for now. Live Events only offer you new races each week,which is something cool but it doesn’t match the Test Drive DNA. On the other hand, the Solar Pass progression gives you beautiful rewards, but the way to acquire them can be grindy and repetitive.

We believe Season 7 is the perfect moment to enhance the Live Experience and make it feel more like an authentic Test Drive experience. We will change how things work by adding a specific 'Live' tab to the World Map. It will be your new go-to spot for fresh content, featuring Daily, Weekly, and Live Event Challenges to keep you busy during the season!

To go deeper in the system, we will let Thibault explain it!

“For Season 7 we wanted to offer our players new ways to play and earn rewards. TDUSC is a unique game where racing is an important part of the experience, but it’s not the only one. To ensure the experience truly reflects this philosophy, we are introducing a new system based on a variety of challenges.

To access this new content, we have created a centralized tab where you can quickly view all the challenges. A new “Live” tab will be added and will be accessible from the game’s map menu. This menu will feature Live Events, Weekly Challenges, and the revamped Daily Challenges.

We are introducing Weekly Challenges, a series of weekly tasks you can complete at your own pace throughout the season. Each challenge earns you Solar Coins and experience for your Solar Pass. With this system, we aim to provide a clearer and less repetitive path for your progression in the Solar Pass. Bonus rewards also await our most dedicated players.

For Live Events, we introduce Live Event Challenges, a new way to complete a wide range of activities: do races and fulfill contracts, but also complete your wardrobe and drive specific vehicles. Completing these challenges will always grant access to exclusive rewards. This system allows us to make each event more unique and offer you a truly immersive experience.

"So happy with this redesign of the Live Events, the system is cool with a lot of different challenges to do, the UI is beautiful and intuitive. I'm really proud of what the guys have done so far!

So now Live Events will be bi-weekly at least. Some of them will last longer than others. Other things to know is that we will have the possibility to have multiple live events at the same time giving the players more time to get their rewards when they matter, like for Partnership Live Events.

We mentioned PvP in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is something that needs a massive improvement, and that starts here! Aiming for Season 7’s mid-season update, the Official Racing Center arrives on Hong Kong Island with a dedicated walkable interior space, and an improved race track exterior design; yes, we’re adding a pit lane too!

Here, players will be able to drop into a matchmaking group of other players to do PvP races on Ibiza and Hong Kong island. Although the ORC’s main HQ is on Hong Kong Island, there will also be a presence in Ibiza at the Selene HQ to launch PvP races from there too!

To explain this feature, and how we will make it more exciting for players to play PvP, here is what Guillaume has to say!

“The Official Racing Center (ORC) is a social hub where you can meet fellow players interested in PvP. It was essential for us to create a dedicated space for this to respect the TDU DNA: if you want to do something, you have to drive there.

As you can see, we went big with this hub. Instead of a simple stand in the Solar Hotel, we’ve built a massive facility right next to the track on Hong Kong Island, specifically designed for competitors. The team has already done an amazing job and is keeping up the momentum!

Beyond being a meeting point, the ORC allows us to create a dedicated PvP gameplay loop: by competing in PvP, you earn specific PvP currency (in addition to other rewards) that can be spent in an exclusive shop. We want the PvP experience to be truly rewarding; we know that facing other players can be intimidating, and those who take the risk deserve special rewards.

Regarding the mechanics: you will be able to sign up for one ranked or one unranked race per rotation (the duration of these rotations is still being finalized). This ensures that you will always find opponents to play with.

There is much more to share, such as the impact on the various event spots, but we will dive deeper into the details in the next Solar Letter dedicated to the ORC.

Just so you know, we are working hard on the ORC right now. This isn't just a small feature; it's a major undertaking involving multiple developers with diverse expertise, as it fundamentally changes how PvP matchmaking works.

PS - The name "ORC" might change slightly in the coming season to better fit our branding. So, don't be surprised!”

So this season brings JDM cars, and Guillaume already teased in the last latter, a 6-cylinder vehicle, that is also a JDM, will arrive in Season 7. Also we’ve moved one JDM vehicle to Season 8, and brought a Season 8 car to Season 7. More details on that soon, but a tease of the vehicle wouldn’t hurt, right?

The most awaited Season in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, which we will make sure to exceed expectations on! Let’s talk about Real Estate in TDUSC!

A core feature associated with the TDU DNA. We’re sorry we missed the mark on this for the launch of the game, but we are going to make it up to the community, because we are already exceeding what was done in the previous Test Drive Unlimited game, TDU2. The update will feature houses, garages, a real estate agency, and more! We won’t reveal everything yet, but let’s discuss some important topics!

Players will be able to find houses on both Hong Kong Island and Ibiza scattered throughout the island. These houses will be completely customisable, which we'll get into later. You’ll be able to find houses of varying aesthetic designs such as modern, Victorian, etc, and unlike TDU2, houses will be architecturally correct. Every room, every space, you can visit it all. There won’t ever be a house with a missing room… take that TDU2!

To explain houses in more detail, here’s what Alain has to say!

“The return of houses and garages in Test Drive Unlimited marks a major milestone for the game. It is undoubtedly the most iconic and highly anticipated lifestyle feature for fans of the TDU franchise. Our teams have been working tirelessly to deliver an even more engaging and immersive experience than anything seen before—whether in TDU or any other game.

The interior customization options are incredible, allowing players to truly create their own universe. This makes sharing the experience with friends even more meaningful, as the community aspect has also been significantly enhanced. I can’t wait to share more details on this in our upcoming newsletters.”

Garages are just important. In Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, you’ll be able to find a wide array of garages with each house. We don’t want to share too much on this specifically yet, but you can expect your wildest dreams to come to life with garages in TDUSC!

It isn’t housing if you don’t have the immersion to go with it. In TDU1 and TDU2, you had real estate agencies where you could view the house before buying, see pictures of it and more. We’ve heightened the immersion with this feature to make you really feel like you're signing your life savings away for your dream home! Not every house will be expensive though!

P.S - Cutscenes matter, and we’ll make sure we deliver on this!

We’ve touched on it a bit before, but customisation is going to be a big factor in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, just as it was in Test Drive Unlimited 2. As expected, you’ll be able to customise with furniture, paintings, accessories, and more! This includes being able to customise your floor and walls with certain materials too.

We know what you want, and we have so much to share, but as we said before, we don’t want to go into too much detail on the whole system yet. We’ll make sure to showcase housing in its full form closer to the release. A real reason for TDU Connect to return in a much improved form, learning from our lessons of the past!

Houses is a big project at KT, and a lot of the team is working on it. Here’s what some developers working on housing have to say to the community!

“We aim to offer a wide range of architectural styles TDUSC houses, from traditional Spanish haciendas to contemporary architect-designed villas and designs inspired from the East.

The housing system has been more complex than we had anticipated, requiring a sustained effort in research. We are fully committed to launching this feature in Season 8 and we hope you will like housing as much as we love working on that feature!”

The Alpine A110 was already one of the GOAT’s, but what happens when Alpine spices it up further? This. This vehicle lapped 20 seconds faster than the foregoing Alpine A110 R, and features extra power too!

The Alpine A110 R Ultime will be available as the Level 1 Reward from the Season 6 Solar Pass. This means as soon as you get the premium version of the Solar Pass, you have access to the vehicle!

To customise the vehicle, head to any of the Workshops found on Hong Kong Island, or the Selene HQ found on Ibiza!

This special edition features all of the manufacturer approved options from Alpine!

One key detail, the door panel is actually colour matched to the exterior of the vehicle. This means you can get some very interesting looking combinations, and we are curious to see what photos the community sends!

Of course, you also have the ability to have your rims and caliper colours selected through the rim section of the customisation tab!

The A110 R Ultime features some very nice interior options too! Take a look at these!

Unrelated to options, but the digital dashboard in the vehicle is also different from the base Alpine A110 Legende, and features a more track focused UI!

Gameplay? Of course! We went on another spirited drive and did a lap around the Hippodrome to see what the track focused Alpine can do. 

The question is, how will you spec your Alpine A110 R Ultime?

We revealed this car back in December, but it’s time we showcase all of the manufacturer options, and gameplay!

The Lamborghini Temerario will be available as the Level 15 Reward from the Season 6 Solar Pass. This means you must have the premium Solar Pass to unlock the vehicle. VIP Solar Pass owners get the vehicle immediately with the 20 level instant unlock feature of the VIP Solar Pass.

To customise the vehicle, head to any of the Workshops found on Hong Kong Island, or the Selene HQ found on Ibiza!

Just like the Pagani, you can find an abundant amount of manufacturer options with this vehicle. 39 different manufacturer exterior paint options (with some paint options allowing for carbon parts package, carbon roof package, or matte paint options), allows you to truly customise the vehicle to your taste!

You’ll also be able to find 7 different manufacturer rim options for the Temerario!

We also made sure to leave a lot of options available for the players when it comes to interior customisation too! The Temerario has 29 Different manufacturer interior colour options.

While we are talking about interior options, take a look at the Temerario’s dashboard! Yes, it has one for the passenger too!

The B95 is based on the Battista, but features a much more aggressive and unique design! Let's showcase this car in more details!

The Pininfarina B95 will be available as the Level 50 Reward from the Season 6 Solar Pass. This means all players will have access to this vehicle!

Of course you’ll have all of the B95 customisation options for the interior available for you to choose from too! A cool quick fact, the front windshield actually moves when you reach a certain speed, for an improved airflow over the driver and passenger!

Here’s your gameplay of the Pininfarina B95! The acceleration and sense of speed you can get with this car are just as you expect for a stellar EV!

It’s time to learn everything you need to know about the Pagani Huayra Roadster!

The Pagani Huayra Roadster will be available in the Italian Dealership located near the Solar Hotel.

You'll find it in the center of the dealership, worthy of its location! The cost? 13,500,000 Solar Coins.

One thing we’ve wanted to improve in the following seasons is the increased amount of manufacturer options for the vehicles in Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown.

The Pagani features 36 manufacturer exterior paint options. Ranging from full colour options, to exposed carbon options. We can’t wait to see some of the options players choose!

We can’t forget the rims! You’ll have a total of 6 different rim options for the Pagani Huayra Roadster!

Just like the exterior, we have improved the interior options too!

Players can find 32 interior options to choose from to make their Huayra Roadster feel unique! Bundled with the rims, this means you really won’t look alike!

To discuss the improvement of manufacturer exterior and interior options and the modelling of the Pagani, here is what Théo has to say!

“The Pagani Huayra Roadster was a nice challenge! It's full of tiny and visible details that had to be replicated (engine bay, brake calipers, etc.). Since Pagani is a brand that allows for extensive customization, the Huayra Roadster will be available in 36 paint colors and 32 interior options, as well as 6 different wheel designs.”

When you think of beautiful active aero on vehicles, you can’t leave out the Pagani Huayra’s active aero. For starters, the Pagani Huayra Roadster's interior is that of a fighter jet, and the active aero bears resemblance.

We’ve integrated dynamic wing movement beyond the standard height and air brake. The Huayra’s wings (two found at the front on the left and right, and two found at the rear on the left and right), will adapt to the vehicles every movement, including the forces created when the vehicle is maneuvering. When you turn, one side will tilt up to create more downforce on one side to create improved downforce when steering.

To discuss this aerodynamic system in more detail, here is what Théo has to say!

“We've updated the entire aerodynamic system in the game to be able to recreate complex systems like those on the Huayra Roadster. We can now reproduce a huge number of aerodynamic systems. This improvement also impacts other cars like the Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta and the Ferrari FXX-K Evo.”

Season 6 arrives next month with more content, features, quality of life improvements, and more! Let’s take a look at this in more detail.

The update is planned to release at the end of March, and we’ll announce this exact date next month.

As for the maintenance, it will be mentioned in the Patch Notes, which will arrive a day or two before the release of the update, but expect the usual server maintenance at 9:30am CET and lasting up to 8:00pm CET. As usual, we will keep you updated on our progress during the day too.

At the launch of Season 5, we reworked the southern areas of Hong Kong Island. We aren’t done yet though, as we have worked on the northern areas of the island for the launch of Season 6. With that, we also went back in and reworked some of the southern areas in more detail with new billboards, traffic lights, and intersections!

To be more specific on the Northern side, we’ve reworked a lot of the buildings to offer more variety between the districts. To discuss this in much more detail, here’s art director Stephane Cambier to give us more details!

“We are continuing our sustained efforts to improve Hong Kong Island’s northern districts, focusing our efforts on several subjects:

Such as fixing the height and density of the building, adding more green spaces, which is one of HKI’s trademarks, and creating more diversity in the building shapes and colors.

Huy Nguyen-Tan (our main procedural building artist)  is therefore at work to improve all this, and I hope you will appreciate the colossal work he has accomplished so far in this regard.”

We’ve started making further improvements to vehicle customisation in TDUSC. We heard a lot of player feedback on vehicle customisation in the game, and we’ve worked to further expand this. In Season 6, you will see the first arrival of this feature, beginning with the official Audi Sport Performance Parts customisation for the Audi R8 RWS (coupe only)! Spoiler, front splitter, side skirt, and rear diffuser, all which can be individually added in the workshop.

We think this is a step forward in the direction of what TDU players love to see; licensed parts and kits, similar to what was seen in the first opus, Test Drive Unlimited 1. We will work on increasing the quantity of this content in the following seasons too, and we are really excited to see what the players think!

Why not see this in more detail with some gameplay around the Northern areas of Hong Kong Island with said vehicle? We didn’t want to leave out the other areas of the map we improved though, check out the latest video on the Nacon Racing channel now!

Remember when we had the community vote on races and liveries to feature in an upcoming Season 6 live event? We’ve integrated the liveries into the game, and we’d like to showcase them!

We mentioned a few fixes in the last letter that are arriving in Season 6, but let’s cover those again, and also mention some more!

• Wheel Animation Desync On Wheels - With the implementation of multiple inputs, we’ve fixed the issue where the wheel can become desynced.

• Ferrari Portofino missing interior trim options - The Portofino now has the correct interior options!

• Gas Station AR not being disabled - Gas Stations no longer have AR when you have the AR feature off.

• Cancelling an emote with an object makes the object stay in motion - We’ve fixed this issue so you can no longer throw multiple objects in the game, although we understand some players had fun messing around with this bug.

• Ford F150 Adventurer/Nissan GTR The Tyger/BMW M4 Competition PUMA upgrade pricing - We fixed the upgrade pricing of all the vehicles affected

• The Ferrari 488 Pista has the incorrect reverse/turn-signal lighting and interior/2D lens model - The 488 finally has its signature turn signal design!

  

• Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE rim model - We’ve fixed these rims so they are more accurately reflected with more depth.

  

• While using an H-Shifter, the vehicle incorrectly produces a 'rev match' dynamic/sound when the gear select is in neutral too quickly (with auto-clutch off) - A well awaited fix, those who who use auto-clutch off, and especially those who use h-shifters, you will no longer hear the rev match noise!

• Impossible Speed Challenges - All Impossible Speed Challenges can now be completed!

• FSR3/XeSS/DLSS 99% is actually better quality than 100% - A very specific bug, but those who use the highest option of your upscaler, should see a slightly improved sharpness/clarity.

Of course there are many other bugs that will be fixed for Season 6, and the team at KT is working very hard on making sure this season brings an increased level of polish compared to the previous seasonal releases. We will continue to let you know some more fixes in the coming weeks, especially the improvements coming to sound, such as the Agera RS having a much better cockpit sound.

Another topic we’d like to mention is the reports we have been getting about PS5 controller vibrations not being able to be turned off. Here are the details on this quality of life improvement, where the vibration comes from, and what you can do to turn off vibration currently.

There are two types of vibrations on the PS5 controller, that being the adaptive trigger vibrations, and core controller vibrations. Core controller vibrations work by changing the in-game settings value from 0 through 100. You will feel these vibrations mainly when the car hits the ground (suspension effects), or when crashing the vehicle (crash effects), and a few other scenarios.

Adaptive trigger vibrations can be felt mainly from the triggers, and can be felt when shifting gears, when the car is near a redline, braking with ABS triggering, and many other scenarios. The ‘overall vibration’ setting does not turn this feature off. Instead, use the PlayStation OS by going to the controller settings and turning off or reducing the ‘Trigger Effect Intensity’. This will turn off or reduce the vibrations felt.

We however understand that this is a setting that players expect to find in-game, rather than using the PlayStation OS, and we will be working on adding this to Season 6 Update 1. For now, use the PlayStation OS ‘controller settings’ section.

The network team is hard at work at many of the upcoming features arriving in TDUSC in the coming Seasons. We mentioned in the last letter, but the team is now focused on rewriting our servers code to increase stability, players visibility, and data reliability, which is mandatory for us to add cross region and crossplay in the future of TDUSC’s life. Of course, the team is also working on the Official Racing Center features (which brings a matchmaking playlist for ranked and unranked as a social hub), and Housing, which has many networking features regarding player sociability.

In Season 6, there are some improvements you can expect to see though, such as some fixes regarding session & group stability, and other issues concerning things the team saw with the PlayStation Plus arrival.

To discuss this in more detail, here is Sylvain from the network team again!

“PlayStation Plus was a huge milestone for us, especially following the initial release of TDU. We worked hard the last few months to make sure that anything works as expected and that our infrastructure will be able to handle every new player. And it also gives us a lot of new data and insights to check regarding our applications ! In Season 6 we will introduce several fixes regarding our Session management system, mostly linked to what players see as "Lobby error" or group errors. 

Now the team is fully focused on the ‘servers v2’ part of the job, where we will rewrite a lot of our algorithms to improve stability of network connection, reduce the latency, and make sure that players will be able to see each other a lot more in the open world part.”

Note: Is my old PC, PS3, or Xbox One racing wheel model compatible with TDUSC?

Some older Logitech, Thrustmaster, or Fanatec models are no longer supported by the SDK provided to us each year by the technical support teams of racing wheel manufacturers. If you encounter problems with models dating back to the PS3-Xbox One era or earlier, please use the following solution:

• Go to UserSettings.cfg located in C:\\Users\\YourUserName\\Documents\\My Games\\Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and set Engine.Input.EnableNaconSDK = true; to false.

This will allow your machine to enable DirectInput, the standardized API that will ensure the most basic controls of your steering wheel work.

• Also, make sure you have installed the software provided by the manufacturers (Logitech G Hub[www.logitechg.com]; Fanatec Driver[www.fanatec.com]; Thrustmaster Drive[support.thrustmaster.com]; Moza Pit House[eu.mozaracing.com], etc.) in order to configure your settings and update the steering wheel's firmware and drivers.

Example: the Logitech G27 is no longer supported by the Logitech SDK and now uses the DirectInput system for basic commands, but you can continue to use Logitech G Hub to configure your settings.

Let us know if you have any further issues with your wheel after this update!

• The car obtained through the casino slots is unable to be sold in Car Resale (Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series)

Season 5 Update 2 helps bring further optimisation efforts to the game, but of course we are going to continue working harder on this subject for both PC and console.

As a lot of efforts went into stabilising this build, you will find a lot more bug fixes arriving in Season 6 and Season 6’s Patch 1. Stay tuned to the Solar Club Letters and Season 6 marketing material to see our continued improvements to the game, from vehicle model bug fixes, to network server improvements, sound design improvements, map improvements, and much more!

The next Season 5 update is bringing more bug fixes and improvements to TDUSC, here’s everything to learn about the update so far.

The update is planned to release within the first half of February. As usual, we’ll be communicating the exact release date of this update within the first week of February.

As for the maintenance, it will be mentioned in the Patch Notes, which will arrive a day or two before the release of the update, but expect the usual server maintenance at 9:30am CET and the maintenance will last up to 6:00pm CET. We will keep you updated on our progress during the day too, which we’ve trialed with our last update release, and the community seemed to love it!

Make sure to stay tuned for all the details on Update 2 by following us on social media!

Similar to Update 1 we’ve done a lot of work on the bugs reported by the community, and we aren’t stopping that with Update 2. You’ll find bug fixes and improvements arriving in the update, from vehicle reports, to graphical issues, Taxi mission issues, Poker, crashes, networking, and so much more! For now, here are some ones we’d like to point out:

• Fixed and improved the Alyss Hot Head and other event call outs - Alyss wasn’t working properly when you heard her tell you that there is a new event happening. Now, a proper notification window will appear, by selecting the appreciate button, your map will open and highlight the event on the map!

• Fixed traffic lights not working in Causeway Bay - There were some permanent yellow lights located on both Hong Kong Island and Ibiza. We unfortunately only branched the Hong Kong Island traffic light fixes for Season 5’s Update 2, but you can expect the lights on Ibiza to be fixed for Season 6!

• Bugatti Chiron active aero improved wing animation - We’ve fixed the Bugatti Chiron’s wing animation. They'll now be configured in the Chiron’s Autobahn mode (so the wing no longer rises at 50kmph). Thanks to our vehicle artist KT Theo for this!

  

• Lamborghini Miura headlight animation - This is a big one we’ve seen reported from the community a lot, and we’ve fixed this for Update 2. The Miura will now have the correct animation for turning the headlights on and off. For those who didn’t know, bet you didn’t know this is a feature the car has in real life did you? Thanks KT Alexandre for the improvement!

  

• It is impossible to have multiple inputs in use - A LARGE improvement for those who use wheels, rejoice! You can now have multiple inputs in use, which means you can have keyboard bindings for vehicle features, and use them at the same time as your wheel is in use. This implementation will also be improved further in Season 6. Thanks to KT Lenny for fixing this!

• Fixed players gaining an unfair time advantage through alt-tab while in-game - This was a report from a member in the community, which thank you for your very detailed report. We’ve been able to fix this in the patch, and thanks to KT Ulrich for working on this fix!

We will share more fixes on the release of the patch notes, but as we wanted to prioritise stabilisation and performance on this build, you will find a lot more bug fixes from all areas of the game day one, on Season 6! Further in this letter, you'll find more details on this!

Another focus of this update is the stabilisation, performance & optimisation. For the launch of Season 5, our KT Engine has gone under enhancements and improvements, many of which will help us achieve the next step in a larger optimisation tactic. With this engine change, we also have a dedicated team working on improving the performance and optimisation of the game, and this update is the first solution to the improvements of the game.

Here’s some information from Niels (TDUSC Producer) about the upcoming update, and what it means for players on both PC and console.

“I think the community knows this by now, and we've said it many times; optimization is our top priority. But I now hope that they're starting to feel it while playing! This update is no exception: it's another step towards the experience we want to offer our players. Specifically, after this update, console players should see a significant improvement in dynamic resolution. For those who don't know, when the frame rate drops, the game can gradually reduce the resolution to maintain a stable frame rate. This is called dynamic resolution, a key feature in modern racing games. Thanks to our latest improvements, the overall resolution should now be higher resulting in a sharper render.”

What’s after Season 5? Season 6, the next content update for TDUSC. This will show our continued improvements on QA and bug fixing, and many new quality of life requests and improvements, so let’s talk about it!

There’s a lot of things to discuss when it comes to Season 6, and we won’t want to reveal it all, but let’s give you some details on what some upcoming features are:

• Detective Missions - Voted by the players from our Year 2 Developer Diary, this feature from which had its first sighting in TDU2 has been enhanced to offer the players a much more in depth experience, especially with the different lore of each mission! You’ll learn more about this early March!

Of course, there are many other improvements we are working on for TDUSC, so let’s cover some important topics that have been brought up by the players over the course of TDUSC’s life so far.

TDUSC’s networking has improved since launch, but there’s still room for improvement! That said, here are some things the network team is working on for TDUSC.

Here’s some words from the network team regarding their work and next improvements on TDUSC!

“TDUSC being an online game, we’re part of every new feature that has been announced because we need to add those new features server-side, and make sure that our infrastructure can handle them. However, we don’t stop there, we really want to make sure that players have the greatest experience together! So we decided to split our efforts in half for the next year, and make sure that we completely rework our server-side applications and the netcode of our game. Even the hardware infrastructure of our servers will change because we will upgrade every one of our servers, and rearchitecture the network topology of our components to ensure there will be less latency between players. We have to ensure first that your saves or current experience are not at risk, so those server optimization and stabilization changes will take time, but it’s really something that is important for us, because it’s important for you.”

In TDUSC’s first year of seasonal updates, Season 2 brought 900 degree steering animation! This was a big effort from the dev team, but it wasn’t perfect. One of the main issues that players reference with this feature is the steering animation is delayed on the controller.

We are working on improving this visual effect, however this new steering is still in beta, and it requires continued testing and improvement on our development branch. We hope to have more details on this in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to the Solar Club Letters for more details!

We can’t leave these people behind! TDU is about immersion, and one thing TDUSC has done well with is the physics of the vehicle and how the vehicles feel on wheel. There’s some issues that we have to work on though, so let’s discuss some solutions we have for some wheels, and some fixes we are working on with other vehicles!

Is my old PC, PS3, or Xbox One racing wheel model compatible with TDUSC?

Some older Logitech, Thrustmaster, or Fanatec models are no longer supported by the SDK provided to us each year by the technical support teams of racing wheel manufacturers. If you encounter problems with models dating back to the PS3-Xbox One era or earlier, please use the following solution:

• Go to UserSettings.cfg located in C:\\Users\\YourUserName\\Documents\\My Games\\Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and set Engine.Input.EnableNaconSDK = true; to false.

This will allow your machine to enable DirectInput, the standardized API that will ensure the most basic controls of your steering wheel work.

• Also, make sure you have installed the software provided by the manufacturers (Logitech G Hub[www.logitechg.com], Fanatec Driver[www.fanatec.com], Thrustmaster Drive[support.thrustmaster.com], Moza Pit House[eu.mozaracing.com], etc.) in order to configure your settings and update the steering wheel's firmware and drivers.

Example: the Logitech G27 is no longer supported by the Logitech SDK and now uses the DirectInput system for basic commands, but you can continue to use Logitech G Hub to configure your settings.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our support team about this! There are also other issues we are working on for TDUSC and wheel support. Below are some key issues brought up by the community and should be addressed in the next patch.

• Moza Wheel - Wheel Rotation : Inconsistent input mapping, animation inconsistency, rotation not reflecting in-game inputs and/or unresponsive configuration 

• Logitech G923 - No input detection, game crash on reconnect – Force Feedback and softlock Non-Functional on PC

• Logitech G920 - FPS drop on PC

When we have more details on these issues, we’ll let you know! For further details, here’s the developers at KT working on the improvements and fixes on wheels and inputs for TDUSC.

“There are more than 70 models of steering wheels in Kylotonn's wheel library, as well as pedals, shifters, and add-ons. We regularly acquire new models from manufacturers, and often there are bugs that I can only resolve by reproducing them directly with the corresponding steering wheel model. Fun fact: since I work remotely, I store a certain number of steering wheels at home—my apartment has basically become an extension of Kylotonn.”

“Among players who use a racing wheel on TDUSC, Fanatec, Logitech, and Thrustmaster account for more than 70% of our players, or even 80% if we add Moza. The Logitech G29 alone accounts for 25%. Unsurprisingly, most of my discussions about organizing tests or compatibility reports focus on these four manufacturers, but it's always a pleasure to have the opportunity to talk to other companies. I find the steering wheel manufacturing ecosystem fascinating and full of creativity! People don't realize how much care goes into it. “

Test Drive Unlimited is about the lifestyle of vehicles, and we know vehicle immersion and accuracy are important to TDU fans because of this. With that, we’ve focussed a lot of attention on looking back at our vehicles and correcting them. Sounds are what make or break a racing game, and we’ve been proud of the success we’ve had with vehicle sounds, ambiance, and much more in TDUSC so far! That said, there is still room for improvement, and we’ve already made some great strides on fixes. Below, is what you can find fixed and improved day one of Season 6 and after:

Season 6+

• Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Sound On Throttle Below 3k RPM Is Silent

• The ambient sound effect continues to play when the player enters the 'Street' and 'Sharp' clan stores on the Ibiza Island

• Music volume increases abruptly when interacting with the 'View Information' prompt in any dealership

• The horn preview audio fails to play inside the Casino Cosmetics Store

• Radio audio fails to automatically reduce volume during NPC passenger dialogue during all Taxi Contracts

• The task completion SFX plays in the race lobby if a task gets completed after the race and the player restarts the race from the race completion screen

• The Button click sound effect plays in the background when the player presses any button during any cutscene

• Fixed BMW M4 Competition backfire

• Fixed LaFerrari sound issue

• Fixed Casino RTC intro music not playing

• Evija, Battista and Taycan Are Missing Sounds From Other Players/AI In Freeroam/Events

• Car Sounds For Other Players Are Incorrect

• McLaren MP4-12C Incorrect Sound

• Sound Balancing (AI audio levels, muffled sounds in cockpit, etc)

• While using an H-Shifter, the vehicle incorrectly produces a 'rev match' dynamic/sound when the gear select is in neutral too quickly (with auto-clutch off)

TDUSC is a living ecosystem designed to evolve season after season. We are working on polishing some existing cars — including a global update to backfire volume and a more precise adjustment to the acceleration sound of the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera. You will also gradually notice a refresh of the UI sound effects, aimed for a more contemporary and less futuristic sound identity.”

Season 5’s launch was not the best seasonal launch for TDUSC, and it’s something we know we have to work on. This year, we are making large improvements to this area of TDUSC. A new QA team is working with KT and Nacon to help improve the seasonal releases and updates of the game. To talk about this more, here’s the head of Nacon Racing.

“To deliver the highest level of polish for TDUSC, we have enhanced our QA strategy by bringing another partner on board as of January 2026. Their expertise will help us refine our seasonal releases and the new features planned for this year. Already, Season 5’s Update 2 is bringing a lot more community bug fixes, especially Season 6, and the TDU community will find the next seasonal releases to be improved as we continue to enhance our QA workflow.

We are excited for the road ahead with KT Racing and TDUSC.”

We’ve seen this request a lot and the community is important to us. With that, we want to let you know we are working on a small project called Solar Testers, run by the community manager, Alex VII. The program is planned to further improve the polish and quality of the game, and even test upcoming features before the season starts to make sure our playerbase has the best experience possible when it launches. To discuss this in more here’s what the community manager has to say:

“As today marks my 1 year at Nacon and KT, it brings me joy to be able to bring this new program to core TDU community members to help increase our seasonal release polish and quality assurance! Starting soon, we will be selecting members from the community to join the program and help with the testing of the Season 6 vehicles and features. Of course, there will be a strict NDA with this program.

I’ll have more details on this program in the following Solar Club Letter, however, the selection process will not be done via application. Good luck to those selected, but I’m sure you know who you are!

That’s the end of this month's letter, but what can you expect next? Here’s some of the upcoming news materials arriving between now, and the launch of Season 6!

An exciting new event from Nacon Racing! Imagine Nacon Connect, but slightly smaller and only featuring our Nacon Racing games. Of course with TDUSC being one of our biggest, you can expect to hear new information about the future of TDUSC in these showcases, with the first arriving next month!

The Solar Club Letter for February will arrive at the end of the month, and will be giving you more details on the upcoming Season 6 launch of TDUSC including the vast amount of bug fixes from what you've seen in this letter so far!

The February update is filled with a lot of bug fixes and improvements, especially for those on console. The team is working hard to continue these improvements over the next updates too, and truly thank you for your support! No Pagani pictures in this letter, but maybe next time! 🙂

The online store is one of the key additions to TDUSC in this update along with the vast bug fixes and the ability to interact with furniture. However, there are some important things to know about the store launch and its features that we want to be transparent about and explain.

Important Note: All premium vehicles from places such as Solar Pass or Online Store have no level lock requirement, meaning you can drive and race the car as you please at any level in-game!

• Diamond Packs

  The currency used in the store is called Diamonds. You can purchase these in various pack amount forms from the online store, however due to platform store issue, we want to let you know some issues:

  • The temporary promotional bonus (extra 100 Diamonds from the original 500) 4,99€ / 600 Diamonds pack is still available but you need to buy it directly from the store (PS Store, Microsoft Store or Steam Store). You can find the following links to do this below:
